Jason Li, BA

Jason Li is a medical student at Harvard. A graduate of Stanford University, he spent his college years deeply involved in passion projects around Asian American issues—chairing the Asian American Students Association; serving as a Northern California Ambassador to the White House Initiative on AAPIs; and writing and performing in culturally-tailored, theatrical mental health workshops for Asian American families with Stanford CHIPAO, which was featured on NPR and Public Radio International. After college, Jason spent a year as a U.S. Fulbright Fellow in China, where he conducted research on village-based health interventions to tackle child and maternal health disparities. As a medical student, his academic interests lie in mental health, race and medicine, and health equity and justice. When not in school, he can be found rambling about Asian American identity and history, devouring books in coffee shops, and reminding reluctant bystanders about his love of California.
