Kimberly A. Truong, PhD

Kimberly A. Truong, PhD, is the Executive Director of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, Adjunct Lecturer on Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and Founder/President of XEM Consulting Services, LLC. She earned a Ph.D. in higher education at the University of Pennsylvania where she conducted research on the experiences of doctoral students of color with racism and how they coped and responded to racial trauma. In her role as an administrator, Dr. Truong leads efforts to support the mission of advancing care in a diverse society through capacity building and targeted support for faculty, staff, and students. She seeks ways to improve students' experiences by promoting mental health and well-being.
