Janet C. Chen, MD

Janet C. Chen, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is the Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics at New York Presbyterian Hospital Payne Whitney Clinic. Dr. Chen supervises child psychiatry fellows on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Consultation and Liaison Service and both child psychiatry fellows and adult psychiatry residents in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Department. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she maintains an active faculty practice treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of conditions. Dr. Chen utilizes an integrated approach that incorporates psychotherapy and/or psychopharmacology, as best suited for the patient.
