Shireen Cama, MD, is a clinical fellow in child & adolescent psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance. Dr. Cama is a former Congressional Hunger Fellow, APA Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow and served as chief resident in child/adolescent psychiatry during her adult psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Yale University, where she served as Freshman Counselor, and completed medical school at Harvard. Dr. Cama is also a board-certified pediatrician and is interested in preventative mental health and ways to foster resilience in youth, families and communities. Dr. Cama has worked and conducted research abroad including an NIMH-funded study of the mental health needs of siblings of children with autism in Mumbai, India. Dr. Cama’s clinical and academic interests include minority and immigrant mental health, infant and maternal mental health, integrated care and systems of care, global health and social justice. She is delighted to be joining the Center.
